Customizing TRACE is easy:

●      Determine the need:

a.    Determine whether any of the existing TRACE modules fill it. If not, will customizing existing module(s) suffice, or is it necessary to create new ones?

b.    Determine whether any existing TRACE form types fill the need. If not, will customizing existing form type(s) suffice, or is it necessary to create new ones?

c.    Determine whether any existing TRACE field types fill the need. If not, create a custom field.

●      Start customizing:

a.       First, modify existing or create new modules. See Modify or Create Modules.

b.      Next, add the form types and fields, creating new ones as necessary. Part of creating a form type is adding fields. To streamline the process, create any new fields before creating the form type the fields will be added to. See Modify or Create Form Types and Modify or Create Fields.

●      Use it. Make changes as necessary – TRACE makes it easy.
